Gen Z and Millenials as theyre the ones who engage with media the most and the label can make the most money by targeting those age groups 

How the band/artists represent themselves on the albulm cover

 

in these 3 album covers, the artist/band isnt featured at all. instead theyre represented by visual imagery rather than their appearance.

 Olivia Dean's 'The Art of Loving' does not have any dramatic performance imagery but rather shows a more authentic genuine portrayal of her smiling, aligning with the albums themes of love and growth

 Kehlani's folded focuses more on confidence and presence which is shown by her direct eye contact with the camera. the background is very minimal which places more focus on kehlani herself. her tattoos are very visible which reflects back her confidence but also individuality.

 Beautiful Chaos by Katseye, similarly to 'folded' shows their confidence. each of the members is placed on their own car showing individuality but within the union of their girl group

What CMC opportunities have been utilised for those artists/bands in those genres?

most of these artists have made use of social media to market but also release the songs. clips of the songs and the videos have gone viral on short form content platforms such as tiktok, and instagram reels which is where their target audience is the most active and theyre like to get the most views and interactions from. Theyve also made use of interviews from different channels that have been uploaded onto youtube, allowing audiences to learn more about the artists/bands and makng the fans feel more connected to them and want to continue engaging in their content
